The Telc A1 exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written part includes reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and written expression. The oral exam usually takes place as a paired exam.

Practice speaking in simple everyday situations regularly. Listen to German music, watch German films with subtitles, and try to have simple conversations.
You will receive the certificate approximately 4-6 weeks after the exam. If you only failed the oral or only the written exam, you do not need to repeat the entire exam.
